Hi, I am looking for a 2D algorithm which would allow me to: reduce a set of arbitrary geometric objects position the reduced objects objects such that they "lie within" the original object. ie, the reduced object lises inside the borders of the original object, with its edges equidistant from the edges of the original object. If you know of an algorithm for doing this, and/or have a subroutine I could use... please reply to staniszewski@mayo.edu
