In response to the request for Singular Value Decomposition algorithm code: The well-known Numerical Recipes book has a pair of routines to do this; the original book had the routines in Fortran, and they have since been translated to Pascal and C (both by the authors, and by myself, some years ago; it's not too much work.) These have proven robust and useful in practice. The Pascal code for these is available via ftp at (I think) garbo.uwasa.fi in the msdos archive, turbopas directory, and is called something like nrpas13.zip. The C & Fortran code is not, to my knowledge, available via ftp and the Pascal code won't make too much sense without the book. Hope this helps; I've used these routines to obtain least-squared solutions for years and recommend them highly. -greg Greg DeLozier/Sr.Analyst, Loral Defense Systems/Grad Student, Kent State Univ.
