Ideally, this package would accept some kind of file with object definitions. Anyone know of such a beast? Certainly Khoros allows you to add, merge, OR,... images together. It also comes with a respectable selection of image creation routines. I have included a listing of all Khoros image commands with "create" as part of the description. Khoros is available anon ftp from pprg.eece.unm.edu. dgexpon (1) - Creates a exponential distributed noise data set. dggauss (1) - Creates a gaussian noise data set. dgpoiss (1) - Creates a Poisson distributed noise data set. dgpwl (1) - Creates a set of piecewise linear periodic signals. dgrleigh (1) - Creates a Rayleigh distributed noise data set. dgsin (1) - Creates a 1d sinusoidal data set. dgsinc (1) - Creates a 1d sinc data set. dgunif (1) - Creates a uniform noise data set. dmirror (1) - 1D Create Mirror of Data. Points added to the left of the first data point. vcustom (1) - Create a custom image via keyboard entry, intended for building custom kernels for spatial convolution. vgauss (1) - Create an image containing one or more Gaussians vgbox (1) - This program create a grey level file image. vgcirc (1) - Creates an image of a filled circle vgconst (1) - Creates an image with constant pixel values. vgfractal (1) - Creates a fractal image with a desired fractal dimension. vggauss (1) - Creates a Gaussian (noise) image. vgpwl (1) - Creates a set of piecewise linear periodic image. vgsin (1) - Creates a sinusoidal image. vimpulse (1) - Create an image containing one or more unit impulses spaced as specified. vmarr (1) - Create a Marr type edge detection filter kernel. vpolygon (1) - Creates a vector image resulting from a polygonal approximation of vthresh (1) - Create a binary image by applying upper and lower thresholds to an input image. -- John C.
