Projection-Slice theorem with non central slices

Dear Netters

I have an idea for an application that gathers data along non-central
slices in the fourier domain and I need to transform these to the image domain
for processing. The slices form a sawtooth raster scan (ie |\|\|\|\) in the
fourier domain, the data being collected along the sloping line, not along the
vertical flyback.

My question is: does the Projection Slice theorem still hold; ie does
the fourier transform of the data along such a slice still form a recognizable
projection in the image domain? Can anyone suggest some references? Thanks,

                                                               Adrian Whichello
