LOWELL, MA--(July 31, 1992)--Wang Laboratories will be participating at
the Nuclear Information Records Management Association (NIRMA) Symposium
'92 in San Francisco through a series of demonstrations geared toward
presenting its OFFICE 2000 strategy to the interests of the nuclear
community. For the third straight year, Wang's presence will be under the
presence of the Wang Manufacturing/Commercial Applications Division.

The NIRMA Symposium is an excellent forum to review current trends and
concerns in the nuclear utility and production reactor industries. Wang
sees tremendous opportunities for document imaging and Business Process
Management re-engineering emerging in this area, due to the tremendous
complexity of nuclear facilities and the high degree of regulation involved
in their operation. High-volume document imaging plays a major part in
speeding up the regulatory process and helps to ensure zero-defect
operations in the nuclear industry.

Wang's demonstrations at NIRMA Symposium '92 cover a spectrum of
applications from records management to occupational health, plant
maintenance, and hazardous material, all helping to make major
improvements in the efficiency and safety of installations.
