anybody know where I can get some texture images? I 'm experimenting with a texture classifier which will be part of the soon to be released (really!) RLAB 0.2. -Mathew

We still have several test images of size 256x256, one byte per pixel raw format without header. Each image contains 7 textures in 16 patches such that all texture combinations share a common boundary at least once. The textures are from the brodatz album and from aerial imagery, simple or very difficult to segment... If someone is willing to put them in an anon-ftp server, I could send them in uuencoded form. Some public domain textures are available, via anonymous ftp from: cicero.cs.umass.edu in the directory: texture_tmp: bark_d12.plane beachsand_d29.plane grass_d9.plane pigskin_d92.plane pressedcl_d24.plane raffia_d84.plane straw_d15.plane water_d38.plane woodgrain_d68.plane As far as I remember they are 512x512 byte files headerless (I could be wrong). ------ Julien Flack. julien@scs.leeds.ac.uk
