I can refer you to a couple of devices Note that some of them may not be cheap. a) The "Hurricane" spot radial laser range finder currently in development by the Field Robotics Center (contact bryon@frc.ri.cmu.edu. A 2 axis 3D scanner built on top of a Schwartz Electrooptic scanner. b) The OGIS range scanner. A triangulation structured binary light pattern device. It uses a camera, an LCD and a light projector. Japanese in origin, it will be distributed in the US. Contact pkk@ri.cmu.edu. c) A trinocular stereo camera range sensor. Uses a correlation approach to find matches. Different versions of software will produce different resolutions and range accuracy. Contact bill.ross@ri.cmu.edu d) ERIM from the Environmental Research Institute in Michigan. A spot laser two axes range scanner. -- Sergio Sedas | e-mail: sws@ri.cmu.edu Carnegie Mellon University | office: (412)268-6557 Field Robotics Center | fax: (412)682-1793 Pittsburgh, Pa 15213 |
