I'm starting a thesis about handwriting recogn and its VLSI implementation with a generator of architecture ALMA. I read which papers didn't explicit the VLSI implementation of handwriting recogn. For my bibliography I would like to know if somebody had already worked to a handwriting recogn chip. I am looking for references on handwriting recogn ans is vlsi implementation. I search very simple algorithms to do the preprocessing : Center , Resize , Resample and the Classifier ( RBF , Percpetron ,... ) and the reseach in a dictionnary , because in hardware, we can't easily implemente compute of square or division ,... . I would like to be in touch with someone who is working on a similar subject. Thanks in advance. o~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~+~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~o | _________ | +---+ | | |PHILIPS| | / \ / \ | | | _____ | | / / \ | | |/ + \| | +---+ \ \ | | (~~~~~~~) | \ \ +---+ | | \___+_/ | \ / / | | | \ / \ / | | Marc HERVIEU, | +---+ | | | | | L.E.P. | M.A.S.I. lab. | | Labo. d' Electr. de PHILIPS | | | 22, Avenue Descartes | Universite Pierre et Marie Curie | | BP 15 | 4 place Jussieu | | 94000 Limeil-Brevannes CEDEX | 75252 Paris Cedex 05 | | France | France | +------------------------------------------+----------------------------------+ | Office : Batiment PASCAL | Office : T55-65, 2et, Bureau 211 | | E-Mail : hervieu@lep.lep-philips.fr | E-mail : hervieux@masi.ibp.fr | | Tel : (33-1) 45 10 68 76 | Tel : (33-1) 44 27 30 43 | | Fax : (33-1) 45 69 40 88 | Fax : (33-1) 44 27 62 86 | | Telex : ? | Telex : UPMCSIX200145F | o~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~+~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~o
