	I would like to have the 8 standard CCITT test documents
	used to evaluate the performance of image compression algotrithms.

	I would appreciate if anybody would let me know where can I get them
	from ???

Hi,

This question comes up about once a month, so instead of replying to you
personally, I will post this response.  Maybe someone can incorporate it into
and appropriate faqs...

With Rodney's help at RPI, I transferred the ccitt files to the image archive
there, in sun raster format - it should be easy to convert them to other
formats.

The location is:

ftp.ipl.rpi.edu:/image-archive/bitmap/ccitt
