Hello, I've just received my Image 640 from Matrox and I'm attempting to write software for it to run under OS/2 on the IBM. I'm having trouble understanding the section on synchronisation using Tags with the Matrox in Queued mode. My specific question is: Can you send multiple tags, and how. Or, is there a way of keeping track of resource usage effectively using the existing tag routines. I'm trying to get the GSP/FPU running in parallel with the processing and host accesses by tracking the current allocation of resources inside the matrox. More questions: With the noise that is produced in the images when you start doing things concurrently (!!), how often do these pixel spikes appear? after each access (!). Has anyone worked out a way of doing normalised correlation using the processing hardware. Can the camera (ASD) capture images in parallel with the processing operations? (It is supposed to be asynchronous after all) Thanks Lindsay Meek (meek@fizzy.csu.murdoch.edu.au) p.s. Can matrox be contacted by Email?
