The lab I am associated with is planning to purchase the following items:

video image analysis system (CCD camera, frame grabber, image manipulation
	and enhancement software, etc),
video motion analysis system,
x-ray film digitizer, and
various scanners.

The computing platforms include SUN SPARC and PC environments.

I would appreciate any suggestions wrt the type of equipment, price ranges, vendors,
	positive and negative experiences, etc.
