I am looking for references to articles that discuss optical
recognition systems that deal with documents such as blueprints.

(More generally, I am looking for discussions of systems that
deal with documents which are more completely two-dimensional
in nature than those systems which do pure text recognition. One
such type of system would deal with musical scores, but I already
have quite a number of references concerning this, and I am now
in search of other such systems.)
