Controlling a CCD Camera

Hello all,

Among other things, I'm currently trying to get a Video Scope CCD camera to
work properly with a Frame Grabber board. I'm driving the whole thing with
a PC and A-D board.

When I take a single snap shot, everything works fine. I get a wonderful
image. When I trigger the integration feature on the CCD camera, I get
flicker. The flicker comes in two basic flavors, and I understand (or
think I understand) why it is flickering (the CCD Camera is integrating
over an odd number of fields in the interlaced image). What I don't know
is how to get rid of it. All attempts to eradicate it to date have been
unsuccessful.

If anyone out there is using a Video Scope CCD Camera with a Frame Grabber
board and thinks they can shed some light on how to minimize or ideally
eradicate the flicker, I would be extreemly grateful. Thanks.
