The Language and Technology Centre of the National Languages and
Literacy Institute of Australia has prepared an international conference 
list on linguistics, applied linguistics and related topics.  This list is
updated bi-monthly.  The latest update was on 18/1/93.  This list may
be obtained via anonymous ftp from lingua.cltr.uq.oz.au.  

Use ftp lingua.cltr.uq.oz.au 
At the login prompt, use anonymous
At the password prompt, type in your userid
At the prompt, cd nlia

file name is confasci.doc

We would appreciate any conference information on linguistics, applied 
linguistics, or related topics, to be sent to us.  This includes
announcements on seminars, symposia, colloquia, etc, which require a wide
distribution.
