: I-80 : Eastshore Freeway (But only until Richmond)

: I-880 : Nimitz Freeway (Is this still the ugliest freeway in CA)
: I-980 : Grove-Shafter Freeway (This name is rarely used.)
: CA-24 : Warren Freeway (Only until the tunnel to Orinda??)

ca24 is the Grove Shafter Freeway from 580 east to 13
ca13 is the Warren Freeway from 580 to 24 through Montclair

The old East Shore Highway is the only place in Berkeley or maybe the
known world that one can drive in three directions at once. You may travel
west on 580 while east on 80 simultainiously going north by the compass !
This anomaly is about five miles long between the Maze and the Hoffman
split. Ambulances and tow trucks are forever being dispatched to the
wrong direction of travel.
