Anything which is binary i.e. based on duality is a simplification
needed to:

1. make meaning by providing contrasts. There is a lot of phenomena in
life which is binary:

There are only two sexes women and men
Gerund v. infinitive
Dynamic v. stative verbs
The word "bank" can be changed to "tank" by exchanging sounds.
You can't understand what "good" means if you don't have the word
"bad". So even evil is necessary for making meaning.
There is God (in human mind at least) but his adversary (the devil)
exists too.

2. organize and save information in memory for retrieval.

If or when human language becomes binary or digital there will a lot of
reduction and simplification similar to the way files are zipped or
compressed.It will lose its power and beauty for the sake of
mathematical precision and avoidance of ambiguity. In addion it can be
easily manipulated updated, erased, transfered and interfaced with
other human beings or machines. Translation and psychology and a couple
of other disciplines will then be superfluous. Nevertheless, duality
has always existed.
