Small choir is grappling with 12th century Provencal, 14th century French and 20th century African language groups! Provencal text below. African languages include Zulu, Sotho, Nguni and Xhosa. If anyone can offer either a demonstration in person (if you live in Edinburgh) or a syllable-by-syllable guide to pronunciation in writing, please contact Sheena Phillips (031-662-0574) or write to 13 Kilmaurs Rd, Edinburgh EH16 5DA or send email care of Chris.Brew@uk.ac.edinburgh. You can assume we know how to pronounce (present day) French. Thanks Here it is A l'entrade del tems clar (Provencal ballad, 12th century) A l'entrade del tems clar, eya! Pir joie recommencar, eya!
