An instructor teaches a class five days a week, Monday through Friday. He
tells
his class that he will give one more quiz on one day during the final week
of classes, but that the students will not know for sure the quiz will be
that day
until they come to the classroom. What is the last day of the week he can
give
the quiz to satisify these conditions?

Well.... if the students are smart, no day will work... but if the students
are not smart, the they will at least know that it cannot be friday... But
if they are very stupid, saturday would work...

Try this:
Since the instructor has decieved the students into thinking the test
cannot be given on Friday, they won't know it will be given on Friday
until they come to the classroom. A falsehood cannot be a truth, but a
lie can.
The weak form of the liar, "I am lying", can be resolved as a truth
because the speaker is trying to decieve us into thinking his statement
is false.

Actually, it can be resolved as a falsehood too, if we take it as a
confession.

Friday, because he's lying. There is no day of the week he can set
the test for which he can be sure that no student is sure that the
test will be on that day.

So the students figure out that the test can never happen, and they
don't study.

On Thursday the instructor comes in and gives them a quiz. They are all
taken completely by surprize, and hence his condition is satisfied.

There is no solution for that thing..
