I can't help on the Woods Metal but for a temperature bath, have you considered Fluorinert, silicone oil or fluidized beds? I have used all three as calibration baths. The fluidized bed will easily carry you over 1000 C. Dow Corning makes several silicone oils that don't visibly fume at 400 C. John -- John De Armond, WD4OQC |Interested in high performance mobility?
