Rocks are great building materials. My grandfather was a stonemason, and although most of his work involved cut stone, mostly limestone, he said one of his greatest pleasures was to build a wall or road by fitting randomly shaped rocks together like the pieces of a puzzle. Cheaper and less energy intensive than bricks, too.-Jitney
