"Algebras, Lattices, Varieties, Volume I and II" Ralph McKenzie, George McNulty, Walter Taylor, ISBN 0-534-07651-3 (v.1) Excellent book. Can zoom through with much pleasure. > Any help very much appreciated . > > Thank You For Your Time. -- Ioannis http://users.forthnet.gr/ath/jgal/ ___________________________________________ Eventually, _everything_ is understandable.

I like the following text, which should have a new edition soon
(now?):
@book{DaveyBA:intlo,
author = {Davey, B. A. and Priestley, Hilary},
title = {Introduction to Lattices and Order},
publisher = {Cambridge University Press},
address = {Cambridge},
year = 1990}
