[ Article crossposted from sci.math ] [ Author was Neil F. Palumbo (neilfp@astro.ocis.temple.edu) ] [ Posted on Sat, 9 Jan 1993 17:25:20 GMT ] I have a set of equations of the form: s'*Ai*s + Bi*s + ci = 0, i=1,2,...,100 The unknown is the vector s (the same unknown vector in all 100 eqns). The Ai's are square (100x100) matrices, the Bi's are (100x1) vectors, and the ci's are constants. s is of course a (100x1) vector. Can anyone suggest an approach to simultaneously solving this set of equations? Please e-mail me with your responses. Thanks in advance... Neil
