Partial Differential Equation routine

I'm interested in getting a C or Fortran program to solve
parabolic PDEs in 3 space and 1 time dimension. I have
something called vecfem from Germany, but it's rather
hard to use. I need to be able to specify spherically
symmetric initial conditions - some routine will only
let me specify the initial data on a cube and this will
not do for my problem.

Thanks very much.
