Hello,

I am working on a project that needs the numerical solution to
a second order partial differential equation in two space dimensions
and one time dimension. The pde involves a mixed derivative and I
was informed by a friend that the hopscotch method might be useful
to solve this. I would be extremely thankful if someone out there
could educate me on how the hopscotch method works for solving
such pde's? References to good books discussing this method would
also be very helpful.

Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Shiva
