C/C++ libraries
#1169

I am looking for diverse C/C++ libraries (commercial preferred):

Background: We want to build a bunch of Data Mining/Analysis
applications. Thus we would need 3 different kinds of libraries:

* Libs for Database, Flatfile access and manipulation (DBTools.h++)
* Numerical Libs (eg. IMSL, Roguewave, M++)
* graphical libs (eg.... VN? Exponentgraphics ?? XRTGraph??)

Do you have any recommendations, experiences, pointers?
Do libraries from multiple vendors usually work together well?

We might also be willing to get Out-of-House Consulting on this issue.

Kind regards,

Alex

Check out MLC++ at http://www.sgi.com/Technology/mlc

MLC++ is public domain and Silicon Graphics is now building tools to
provide database access, graphical presentation etc. on top of it.

If you're interested, feel free to contact me directly.
