Bochner's Theorem states the optimal condition on the fourier coefficients
for a function to be non-negative (Rudin, Real Analysis, p290). Has anyone
ever heard of a similar result for orthogonal functions other than e^iwt?
I actually need something for the spherical harmonics on the surface of the
sphere, which are e^imt times Legendre functions, P(l,m).
