You don't say whether you need hiquality graphs, but if you just
want lineprinter graphs, then
I strongly recommend the UNIXSTAT programs, which will do many
basic statistical operations using standard UNIX pipe syntax. Drawing
line-printer histograms from ascii files is one of the tools. This
invaluable public domain tool originally came from Gary Perlman at
UCSD, but I have no idea if it has been updated, since the version I
have is years old. If anyone on the net knows where it is, or if it
has been updated, that would be really useful. I have the C source code
somewhere, but I would need to hunt for it.

Hope this helps
Patrick
