I'm doing research in developmental biology and my project has taken a turn
towards statistical analysis. I'm running G-tests of independence on SAS and I
need to know what the proper uses and limitations are of the following
coefficients: Phi coefficient, Contingency coefficient and Cramer's V. I'm not
sure which is appropriate for my data set. The reference for the latter two
coefficients is listed in the SAS manual as Kendall and Stuart 1979 vol 2.
Our library doesn't have it and interlibrary loan will take two weeks at least.

Thank you very very much for any help anyone can offer.

Gratefully yours,
Reyna Favis
