Has anyone ever used statistical analysis such as regression, correlation, forecasting, ectc on stock for investment puposes. Is there any book which talks about this. I have searched enough I could not find any book wich uses statistical analysis for analysisng stocks, mutual funds, etc. Why is it not popular? I would also be interested in software for PC to do statistical analysis. It should be able to do graphics, forecasting, regression, etc. prefereably for windows. I know metastock does some of this but not real forecasting. I may be wrong there. Ramesh
