hi, I do have the following (easy to solve ) problem but i couldnt figure out what to do: I have a set of equally distributed random numbers ranging from 0.8 to 1.2. If i was to pick n (lets say n=2000) samples what is the probability that the average of the samples is (1+x, i.e. 1.01) and not 'exactly' 1? thanks juergen
