The University of Plymouth have recently dropped SAS, since most of
its procedures are included in SPSS. However, we have no equivalent software
for SAS's OR (operational research) module.

So I'm looking for a package (preferably multiplatform,
Windows/DOS/Mac/mainframe) that covers the area of mathematical programming
(linear/integer programming, travelling salesman, assignment problem, etc)

Any information will be most invaluable.
