I just got an offer in the mail for mathcad for $79. I'm tempted, but:
(a) I'm not a statistician, just a user, & (b) I've learned & forgotten
calculus three times. I realize that mathcad won't do serious
multivariate stuff for me...I've got spss for that...but I'm wondering
how useful it will be in deepening my understanding of the packaged
stats. Are there macros or something for mathcad that illustrate
statistical procedures, etc...distributions, transformations, steps in
multivariate procedures?
