I am doing alot of statistical analysis with SAS and SHAZAM ( an econometrics
package) on an MVS system. I will be taking a position at a university in
France where the SPAD and MODULAD languages are available. Does anyone
know anything about these programs ? Specifically...
1. what's the language pf programming (english, french etc..)
2. Is it more, just as, or less powerfull than SAS, SPSS
3. How big can record lengths be ?
4. Can they do serious comuptations (non-linear regressions,
pooling of time-series and cross-section, probit, logit,
max. likelihood, factor analysis, etc.)
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
DSE
