Im looking for references to correlations of small numbers of numbers (small N). I have heard the name Jacknife tossed about but I don't know of it nor do I know of any references to it. Can someone point me to sources of information about either of these topics? I don't have a background in statistics and I don't know of any on-line archives or other resources related to this topic either.
