Which fillings are the least problematic for the vomeronal? A TVNZ news article lead me to http:\\portico.bl.uk the British Library. That led me to register free for New Scientist. My first article was about the female's ovulatory effect on salivary testosterone levels of nearby males, the sense organ being the vomeronal, via pheromones. I have reported some year or more ago what I thought might be hormonal effects from composite fillings, possibly from the uncured 10% fraction (which a solvent can leach out of a filling making it less toxic). I have asked previously on sci.med.dentistry about changes in health in countries where the fillings are mainly composite. I now ask for hormonal studies, sperm counts &c. I had requested this from the researchers at Christchurch Women's Hospital when I found a study going on there about food/organic and sperm count. But the questionnaire had already been approved by the Medical Council and this question could not be added. Brian Sandle
