I have proposed gatewaying the SOREHAND list to/from bit.listserv.sorehand, but
somebody has raised the point of using the already existing newsgroup 
sci.med.occupational instead.

SOREHAND specializes in (mostly) keyboard related injuries & how to prevent
them, while s.m.o is more general.

SOREHAND's 500+ subscribers can easily generate 20+ posts per day, which would
be a noticeable increase above s.m.o's 5+ per day.

What do s.m.o subscribers think of this idea?
