I have been suffering from tendinitis and back problems for about a
year now. I find myself seeing physicians that specialize in sports trauma
and don't necessarily know much about RSI or how to cure it. Do people have
suggestions about where to go (I live in Santa Cruz and work in Silicon Valley)

I feel that I've been getting decent treatment from a clinic in the
Valley Health Center (across the street from Valley Med in San Jose).
I've seen the place called the Institute for Reptitive Motion Injury,
or something like that. I've got a business card here that reads:

    Division of Occupational Medicine and
    Employee Health Services
    Valley Health Center
    750 Bascom Avenue, Suite 300
    San Jose, CA 95128
    (408) 299-8800

They've been treating me for mild tendinitis in my hands and wrists,
and ulnar nerve irritation, both a result of excessive keyboard and
mouse use.
