I am looking for information from other clinical labs, microbiology labs, 
physician office labs, public health labs, etc... about your criteria for 
assessing adequacy of Tzanck preps. Do you have a quantitative or 
qualitative indice for rejection or do you add a qualifier to a result 
when it appears to contain a insufficient numbers of cells. I would also 
be interested in the same information concerning specimens submitted for 
HSV or VZV DFA. TIA.
