Anyone know of a medical convention happening in Australia in the period
mid-December'99 to mid-January 2000? I haven't been able to trace any on
the internet. Radiology/cancer/ pathology or similar fields preferred
but not essential..
I realise its the summer holiday season there, but maybe.....?

Jon

There is also a medical convention in Japan in June on Lipids. Don't
miss it. :-)

Most conferences seem to wind up by about now - i've just attended two. It
sure is the summer (silly) season down here - any conference at the end of
the year is going to run into the annual xmas party season (which of
course may be disguised as a conference, eg. notable pyramid selling
organisations) and then the new year with added millenium madness so
prices will be at a premium and accomodation scarce. So nothing serious
seems to be happening and as it is the summer vacation conference
organisers have the child minding problem.

Well accomodation on the east and west coasts is taken care of, I've
checked the AMA site for WA which seems to be clinically dead
conference- wise... The east coast winds down, as you mentioned about
now and get going again in February. Oh well, something to remember
for the next trip. Thanks for the info.
