The Nine Planets, a Multimedia Tour of the Solar System"
a WWW hyperdocument is now available at:

        ftp://ftp.netcom.com/pub/billa/nineplanets/nineplanets.html

or from the "home page" in my sig.

This "tour" is somewhat larger and more complete than the others of
which I am aware. It has at least a few words about each of the 70
planets and moons in the solar system plus the Sun and a few misc
topics. In addition to the usual pictures, I've also included some
sounds and an occasional movie. TNP includes an extensive index of
pictures of each object. I've tried to write for a general audience
not necessarily knowledgeable in astronomy, but I think professional
astronomers and planetary scientists may also find some interesting
bits, too.

I've put a lot of effort into this over the last few months. I hope
you enjoy it; I have certainly enjoyed writing it.

If you find any errors (even just typos) or have any suggestions or
just want to comment please don't hesitate to send me some mail.

(I apologize in advance for the server upon which I am forced to offer
this. It's sometimes slow and sometimes even refuses connections. But
you will eventually get in.)
