Hi. My name's Gianna (I'm using my brother's account.) and I have to
write a report for biology class. I would appreciate some help answering
the following:
Who invented the pH scale?
Why should living systems use buffers as a part of their normal
compositon?
What are stable internal and external enviroments?
Would buffers aid or hinder the maintence of a stable internal enviroment
in a changing external enviroment?
What occurrances might case a change in the internal chemistry of an
organism (such as a human)? What happens?
Post the responses or email to gianna@phsbbs.princeton.nj.us
