XVIII SYSTEMS ENGINEERING WORKSHOP

The XVIII System Engineering Workshop will take place in Santiago, Chile, July 
11th to 15th, 1995.  This Workshop is being organized by the Industrial 
Engineering Dept. of the University of Chile and will be held jointly with the 
main yearly information Technology and Communications Fair SOFTEL-95.
The Workshop provides an international forum for presentation and discussion 
of paractical applications, original research, methods and tools in the 
following interest tracks like:
*Information System Development
*Organizational Design
*Operations Management
*Human Resources Management and Team Work
*Services Management
*Strategic Management
*Software Engineering
*Innovation
*Reengineering
*Simulation and Quantitative Models
*Information Technology
*Telecommunications

PAPERS
Submitted paper abstracts presented of about 200 words, should be written in 
Spanish or English and must indicate the area to which they belong.  Abstracts 
will be evaluated with respect to their originality, correctness, clarity and 
relevance.  Authors should avoid citations that make their or their companies 
identities obvious.
TUTORIALS
Proposals are solicited for organizing full -or half- day (3 or 6 hour) 
tutorials. Proposals should include:  tutorial title, a brief syllabus on the 
topic and curriculum vitae of the proponent.

CONFERENCES
Proposals are solicited for one hour or one hour and a half conferences about
subjects related to indicated interest tracks.

Critical dates:  Papers, tutorials and conferences proposals must be received 
not later than March 31, 1995.  Authors will be notified of acceptance/ 
rejection by April 20, 1995.  Papers accepted will be efecible to be published 
in the proceeding if they are received in final copy, camera ready, not later 
than May 22, 1995.
