Position Summary:
Conduct and model System levle Reliability calculations and predictions 
based on Bellcore requirements. Present reliability data to customers. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

�  Model and predict reliability data for electronic systems 
�  Establish hardware failure rate predictions. Failure mode and effects
analysis 
�  Life cycle cost modeling 
�  Field preformance modeling 
�  Build reliability concepts into product design 
�  Customer presentations and interface 

Experience:

�  Working knowledge of system level reliability modeling of complex 
   telecommunication systems and failure rate predictions. 
   Fault tree analysis, and MTBF per Bellcore TR-TSY-000332 &
SR-TSY-001171. 
�  FIT rate determination 
�  Knowledge of fault insertion techniques, device failure mechanisms, and
accelerated life tests. 
�  Knowledge of thermal analysis and verification techniques. 
�  Good communication and writing skills 

Skills: 
�  Multi tasking and pesonal time management skills. 
�  Self motivated Team player. 
�  Lead person for reliability issues. 

Education/Experience: 
Degree Enineer, Masters preferrred. 7-15 years experience in
telecommunication or electronics environment.
