If I say time dilation follows this rule: t' = t * sqrt(1-(v/c)^2) Does this help you, or not? If it doesn't help you, it is because (1) you already know this equation and are vaguely annoyed at seeing such a trivial treatment, or (2) you have no idea what it means, in which case you are vaguely annoyed that you can't understand it.
