So you are saying that back in the 1800's when people said gay, they
were talking about homosexuals.  When they said gay nineties, they
were talking about homosexual activities.  I do not hate homosexuals,
but it sort of irks me that they would ruin a perfectly good word in
the English language.  Now black people are understandably offended
when anyone sings the words to Old Kentucky Home.
