The Atonement for the sins of mankind was going to take place after
the last supper whether Judas betrayed Jesus or not. The Atonement
for the sins of the world took place in the Garden of Gethsemane. The
crucifixion, which was the physical death of Christ, took place on
Calvary. The Atonement had already taken place before the
crucifixion.
