Much less has the last 0.1% of that 4.5 billion years been sufficient without a little outside intelligent design as a perfectly godly form of help. Sirius-B (as having already gone through the red-giant phase) is likely older than our Sol, and otherwise of many other recently IR detected suns with perfectly viable planets are actually more common place than not. We're talking of at least in terms of multiple billions if not a good trillion+ worth of those other much older red- dwarf stars w/planet(s), each of those being of a good billion plus years older than us (actually it's more likely 5+ billion years older), whereas the odds of none of those having accommodated our equal or better isn't even a fair game. There's simply no possible way of our honestly suggesting that we are but all there is to behold within our pocket universe, and that all else is simply at risk of being eaten alive, by us if need be. - Brad Guth
