Not in this case; I'm computing the insolation over a
sphere, and the insolation is (mostly) uniform if one uses
a disc cross-section.

Were one to use a hemisphere, the insolation per square meter
near the terminators would be far less than on a point
where the Sun shines directly overhead.

I'm frankly not sure where Brad is getting his
7.2 * 10^24 W from; the insolation on the Moon
is at most about 1.28 * 10^16 W
= 1350 W/m^2 * 3.793 * 10^13 m^2 / 4 .
