The only and single place in which inertia can appear is in the vacuum. In water, in the air, on the Earth, there are molecules, atoms, photons which are opposed to the perfectly rectilinear trajectory. Rectilinear? Compared to what? Simply compared to the only medium which "respects" the trajectory without any influence: the vacuum. But then.... The rectilinear trajectory is it ONLY compared to the vacuum... It is thus an absolute movement!!! The vectorial equation of Newton is thus the equation of the ABSOLUTE MOVEMENT!!!
