Essentially there is only one difference between Newton and Einstein:
The true implication of Newton's particle model of light according to
which the speed of photons varies with both (1) the relative speed of
the light source and the observer and (2) the gravitational potential,
in Einstein's theory was replaced by two statements:

(1) Wrong: The speed of light does NOT vary with the relative speed of
the light source and the observer.

(2) Contradictory: The speed of light does vary with the gravitational
potential in accordance with Einstein's 1911 equation c'=c(1+V/c^2);
also, the speed of light does not vary with the gravitational
potential (is constant in a gravitational field); also, the speed of
light does vary with the gravitational potential but not in accordance
with Einstein's 1911 equation c'=c(1+V/c^2).
